"I am 84 and my granddaughter is 30. The property was perfect for us. We enjoyed fossil hunting on the river and just enjoying the home. Surprisingly too cold to enjoy a fire, but if it had been hot, we couldn't have spent as much time outside. Enjoyed Waco National Monument. Went to Tonkawa Falls. Waco /Baylor Fossil Museum. Jace's Grocery. My granddaughter loved the porch bedroom. She spent a lot of time there."

"We had an amazing, relaxing stay and would absolutely come back! We loved using the fire pit, grill, and hot tub. The location was great too; we ate at El Molcajete and did a tasting at Valley Mills Vineyards, both just a few minutes away and definitely worth visiting. Any questions I had before and during our stay were answered very promptly.The hosts are very upfront in the listing about the nearby train. It is loud and passes often, but the sound machine they provided worked great and we had no issues sleeping. Honestly, the very determined cardinal attacking the windows throughout the day startled us more than the train did Since the property is more wooded, we did see some bugs, which was expected, but the hosts had bug spray readily available and clearly stay on top of it. The kitchen and bathroom areas are on the smaller side, but were the perfect size for the two of us. Overall, a wonderful little getaway!"

"We did a last minute booking for our 14U Nationals basketball tournament down in Franklin, Tx. The memories that were made with these kids will last forever. From the moment the gate open to the Ranch for our arrival until the time is close behind us on our departure was an experience within itself. The constant laughter with everyone made the experience amazing. Many of these young kids had never fished a day in their lives. By the end of the trip they were petting baby pigs, baby goats, horses & cows. I would rate this place 10 and I'm sure we will be back again. Zane and Kristi were fantastic host and made sure we had everything needed."
