It was an excellent room for a good price, on the periphery of downtown Bordeaux so it was accessible but still removed enough from the bustle of downtown to have a good night’s sleep.

Parking was hard to find but once I knew the process it was easy (Give directions to guests). Receptionist and all the staff were super friendly. The issues lay with the room. I was in a room that was next to the breakfast area so from 06:30 the noise woke me up, add to this the smell of bad drains and the vending machines outside the door, I really didn’t sleep much.

It was mediocre at best. They really need to step up their cleaning. Bugs on the ceiling, baseboards covered with gross dust. The balcony was filithy and you looked into a unpleasant courtyard/pitt. The room size was great. Bonus was that it was close to the tram.

This nice and modern aparthotel is well maintained and its location is very convenient as there is a tram station just half a block away. You can be in Bordeaux’s historic center in less than 20 minutes and if you’re traveling to the next destination by train, the train station (Saint-Jeanne) is just half an hour away at just 3.3 Euros per person. I highly recommend this hotel. I would book again. We didn’t have breakfast at the hotel so I can’t comment about that. The staff is friendly and they explain well to you what you can do in town.

Free parking outside, helpful check in staff member. It was not easy to find the accom initially as sat nav was taking us to a slightly different spot. There is a small sign higher up with the apartment name on, but it's not an obvious entrance so need to look out for this - esp at night. Overall was a nice enough small apartment.

The check-in was easy, clean room (it is a little dated, like chipped cabinet paint, but for the price, not an issue to me). The room is spacious and the layout works. The only reason for a star off is that the mattress was quite firm. The mattresses in France tend that direction, but I struggled to sleep. a softer mattress topper would go a long way!
