We were very dissapointed with our stay at Domaine de Raba. I booked 2 days prior to this with another Company and they did not allocate me my chosen room. Also, the accomodation is not in the building pictured it is in a seperate new building.

Bien et pas bien

Nous avons passé une nuit L'hôtel est vraiment très bien situé. Nous avions la chambre des oiseaux. Décoration un peu trop kitch à mon goût et surtout le parfum d'ambiance bien trop prononcé que nous avons ramené dans nos bagages... En revanche un petit déjeuner top dans le bâtiment principal qui lui est bien d'époque. Jardin très agréable.

Nuit au domaine

On nous a mis à disposition une chambre en Rez de chaussée destinée aux handicapés que nous ne sommes pas d’ailleurs. La chambre est dans le passage de l’accueil et mal insonorisée et les rideaux ne sont pas assez larges pour occulter le jour où la lumière permanente de l’entrée. Par contre le personnel a été hyper réactif pour nous donner une autre chambre à l’étage mais pas de chance pas de chauffage dans celle-ci on s’est couché avec une bonne couette. Ce séjour restera des anecdotes à raconter. Le petit déjeuner devrait être en buffet il faut que le client puisse choisir en visuel et non à la demande et celui-ci est trop cher 20 euros salade de fruit pomme bananes voir photo

One night in Domaine de Raba

We had a lovely 1 night stay. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Some staff spoke very good English which helped as my French is quite basic. The Room 'Les Pidgeons' was excellent. It was beautifully presented and cosy with a charming fragrance, a sample of which were able to take with us, which was a nice touch. We enjoyed a relaxing swim in the indoor pool with our one-year-old daughter. Then we enjoyed a lovely pre-dinner drink in the chraming Library Bar. The barman was fantastic and served us up a delicious cocktail of his own recipe. Dinner was delicious and we were supplied with a high chair for the baby upon request. Again the restaurant staff were polite, professional and accommodating. We ordered breakfast to our room for 7.15 a.m. and a taxi for 8.15a.m. as we had a flight at 11a.m. The breakfast didn't arrive at 7.15 and we overslept til 7.30 which put us under a little pressure time wise. Eventually breakfast arrived at 7.45 but we didn't have time to enjoy it in full, unfortunately. It was only when we woke up, we realised there was no phone in the room, so if I was to change anything about our stay it would be to install a phone in the room. Overall a really, relaxing and enjoyable stay at Domaine de Raba. I only wish I had booked for two nights instead of one! We'll definitely be back for another stay. Thank you to all the staff who made this stay so enjoyable.

Arrivée et apres midi piscine spa très sympathiques. Bar à cocktail et restaurant agréables Par contre soirée sur le roof top très bruyante jusqu'à 1h du matin non gérée par la direction malgré 2 appels pour plainte. Week-end se voulant reposant finalement usant.

Simply WOW! Best hotel experience ever! Love the tent room, great design. When the sun light shades on the tent, it looks so calm and relax. It was still very cold outside when we come back in the evening. When we were going to bed, we were surprised what we saw under the blanket: two fluffy hot water bottles. So thoughtful and warmhearted! We ordered breakfast for 2 and could be delivered to our room. Just perfect. The hotel facilities seem so nice, there are swimming pool, small theater room, spa tent at the pond. Free parking. I stayed only one night but I wish I would have stayed longer. Well, highly recommended to everyone and will come back again.

We really enjoyed our stay here, the staff were charming and always available and helpful. It’s a little unusual we stayed in a Lodge which is in fact just like a luxury safari tent, so rather quirky for the outskirts of Bordeaux. Don’t be put off by my description, the lodge has a beautiful super king size bed with high quality bed linen, a double shower with 2 drench style shower heads and separate loo. Breakfast is served to you at your lodge, freashly squeezed orange juice tea/coffee and loads of freash pastries.There’s quite a bit of building work going on at the moment, but it’s really worth keeping an eye on the development for the future it really is going to be a lovely place to stay when all the work is finished. I’m sure we’ll be back sometime in the future.

Além da expectativa

Em uma construção antiga, me parece que um palácio - encontramos um hotel muito acolhedor. O quarto de ótimo tamanho, decorado com capricho e bom gosto , limpo e confortável. O banheiro grande com duas pias e um secador de toalhas. As amenidades diferenciadas, o body lotion uma delícia. A equipe muito simpática e eficiente, como poucos estabelecimentos tem o privilégio de apresentar funcionários tão comprometidos e gentis. É um hotel para passar alguns dias, que infelizmente não pude desfrutar mais. Adorei.

Hotel agréable

Bâtiment ancien mais avec confort moderne . Jardin où il fait bon se relaxer . Accueil agréable . En revanche nous n'étions pas prévenus que nous ne pouvions pas dîner an l'hôtel car c'était un dimanche. Et il n'y avait pas de restaurants aux alentours . Également la mise en place du petit déjeuner était trop tardive par rapport à notre heure de départ.
