First visit to Bordeaux

It was our first visit to Bordeaux and Sylvie and Sebastien were so helpful with guiding us how to travel, where to eat and what to see plus what to avoid which is a great help. The breakfast was delicious and varied each day. It showed difference between a hotel and Maison d'hote with the personal welcome.

Beautiful house and great hosts

Sylvie and Sebastien were wonderful hosts. They were friendly, made us feel very welcomed and almost like part of the family. The Clos is a beautiful building with a lovely garden, it's an oasis of peace with birds, a pond and beautiful nature. We only spent 2 nights here but would love to return. Thank you for hosting us!

Transcended the usual hotel experience elevating it to a level beyond. A jewel in all respects. An oasis of tranquility and luxurious augmented by a caring attentive and super professional staff happy to help in every way. The breakfast included the finest food some fresh from the garden. 10/10.

Wow! What a delightful stay! Sylvie and Sebastien are two of the nicest and most genuine people we have met in quite some time. The property is gorgeous, beds comfortable and parking our rental car inside made us feel very safe. The fresh orange juice is unforgettable along with their hospitality. Even when we checked out, their son helped me book a reservation when my phone wouldn't dial out. Thank you for this wonderful stay! Til next time! If you choose to stay here, you will not be sorry. What a Hidden Gem

What an experience! Sebastian and Sylvie could not have been accommodating, friendly and welcoming. We were so very well taken care of and as it is winter and we were the only ones staying that night, they showed us each of the unique 5 suites they offered. Each was welcoming, warm and well accoutermented with its own charm and appeal. The garden, in summer, would be an additional special place to enjoy, we expect to see that in our next stay. We were advised on transportation, restaurants and sights - all of which were spot on. Breakfast was also wonderful with homemade yogurt, jams, etc. and made to order beverages. Do not let the area, which may appear sketchy, trouble you w/secure parking inside. We could not feel more safe and comfortable in and around the property. We will most certainly be back when next in Bordeaux.

Just perfect.....

Amazing place to stay...The hosts Sylvie & Sebastian are so welcoming and helpful. Sylvie gave us a map & advised best places to see in our short time there and without her help we wouldn't have seen as much. The hotel was fantastic and our room was massive and immaculate. A bit out of the centre but only a few tram stops away. Bordeaux itself was beautiful and we plan to go back to see a bit more of it and we will definitely stay at this fabulous accommodation...

The room we were allocated had a narrow spiral staircase of 20 steps up to the bedroom. This was awkward to navigate especially with luggage and dangerous. In the case of fire it would have been near impossible to get down.

Sylvie et Sebastien furent des hôtes remarquables. L’accueil fût très chaleureux, la chambre était immense et impeccable. Superbe maison d'hôte

Un très bel endroit, très belle maison de maître typiquement bordelaise avec son petit jardin, écrin de verdure, extrêmement agréable à la fin d'une journée très chaude Sylvie et Sébastien nous ont merveilleusement bien accueillis, aimables serviables disponibles Nous avions la chambre Aquitaine, 38m2, une suite Deluxe, une petite splendeur très joliment décorée avec beaucoup de charme et chic. Excellente literie dans un lit en 180, avec un choix d'oreillers. Une douche gigantesque. Et pas un bruit!!! On n'entend même plus les grenouilles qui sont dans le bassin du jardin 😁 Et que dire du petit-déjeuner typique des chambres d'hôtes à savoir tout fait maison, jus d'orange, yahourt, salade de fruit. Emplacement parfait pour visiter bordeaux à qq km, tram à proximité, on peut se garer à l'intérieur de la propriété Merci Olivier et Delphine

Exquisite Unterkunft mit herzlichen Gastgebern

Wunderschöne, grosse Zimmer mit Aussicht auf den Garten. Die Bettenqualität ist sehr gut und die Gastgeber sind äusserst herzlich und sehr hilfreich. Das Frühstück wird frisch zubereitet und zum Teil selfmade. Die Tramhaltestation befindet sich 5 Minuten entfernt, nach 4 Stationen (ca. 12 Minuten) gelangt man ins Zentrum. Währenddessen bleibt das Auto sicher zu Hause stehen. Die Gastgeber haben viele nützliche Tipps zum Erkunden und Entdecken, sowie für die Erreichbarkeit der Sehenswürdigkeiten. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder!

This is a beautifully renovated classic house in a quiet, but convenient section of Bordeaux. Our room was spacious, well appointed. The decor blends tradition with a quirky modern aesthetic. Breakfast is delicious. There is a lovely garden for relaxing and parking on site is a great asset. A big plus is that the proprietors are attentive and delightful! We hope to return before long!
