It is our first experience for renting a B&B and we were a little nervous to book this type of accommodation. Our hosts Patricia and Christophe are very welcoming and accommodating to our needs. Patricia is very helpful and gave us some pointers for visiting Bordeaux. Our room was clean, spacious and very comfortable. Breakfast was excellent. We highly recommend la maison Bastide to anyone who wants to reserve a B&B in Bordeaux. It is near the tram line and you can even walk to downtown.

Pleasant surprise

We had a fantastic stay at this small but Very cozy hotel. The host couple was very helpful and very friendly and the breakfast was excellent. The best beds ever and everything was very clean. We just walked to the city Center. We had an unexpected pleasant stay and we highly recommended this hotel.

We really enjoyed our stay at La Maison Bastide. The room was clean and comfortable. Patricia was very welcoming and provided us with great advice on our first day. The house is full of character and a peaceful oasis in a vibrant city. We enjoyed breakfast around the large table with other guests with some great conversation. Certainly a place we would return to or recommend to friends.

Outstanding B&B in Bordeaux!

Our stay at La Maison Bastide was outstanding! From the warm welcome and hospitality of the hosts Patricia and Christophe, the delicious breakfasts every morning (with the best homemade yogurts), and clean and well-decorated rooms, we could not ask for more! Patricia was very eager to share recommendations for restaurants, the best ways top get around, and all the tips we needed to have a successful trip. The property is very close to a Tram stop so all the sights are easily accessible. A beautiful home in a beautiful city!!

La Maison Bastide is a special place to stay if you are lucky enough to be in Bordeaux for any length of time. It's a home and a high quality hotel, meaning that guests get the best of all worlds - a chance to be welcomed by a local family and as much privacy as you'd expect from any top class accommodation in any exciting city. The rooms are clean and well furnished, the bathrooms clean and modern and the breakfasts extremely generous with caring home made touches. Nothing is too much trouble for the hosts and every aspect of the stay, from impressively noise-proof glazing on the street-facing windows to the antique furniture, comfortable beds and home made preserves for breakfast, is a pleasure.

Fantastic stay at La Maison Bastide. Hosts very friendly and helpful throughout. Happy to have a conversation with you on Bordeaux or life in general which was great for me traveling solo. Location is great. Close to Bus line 10 and Tram A. Bus line will take you directly to the train station. Tram A will give you access to all the downtown area. The house is located in a very quiet street. Honestly, it doesn't matter if you have a garden view or street view as it is quiet both sides. The house is spacious. You'll have access to the garden and terrasse. And the host will let you stay in the dining area if you need to work with a laptop as the rooms don't have a desk. The rooms are clean, have AC (which is very useful in the summer), bathtub showers and instant coffee/tea. Wifi has a strong signal everywhere in the house, even on the terrasse. The host is gracious and very willing to assist with anything. Keep in mind that this is a French style house, therefore, the rooms are smaller than the american standards for space. Finally, the breakfast is a typical French one: croissants, baguette, various jams but, one again, the host will go the extra mile to make you happy. As an example, I am not too keen of sweets and the host brought me cheese and cold cuts. It is a real great deal for the price charged. Close to many attractions (using the Tram) but feasable by foot.

Fantastic traditional B and B

Outstanding traditional B and B. The 5-room building has been exquisitely renovated by owners Patricia and her husband Christoph who are exceptionally warm and welcoming hosts. Breakfast which varies daily is served in a the large attractive main room where one can interact (or not) with the other few guests. Most items are home made by Patricia. Quiet location with good restaurants within easy walking distance, including one-star Michelin (L'oiseau Bleu) about 50 meters away. Free street parking is available (which we used) about 10 minute walking distance.

Un séjour excellent. Un très bel accueil chaleureux, riche en échange et en partage. Des informations pour aller dans les meilleurs endroits à visiter de Bordeaux. Des hôtes également très attentionnés et prêts à se mettre en 4. La maison ancienne est magnifique à la décoration raffinée et au grand confort. Un excellent petit déjeuner maison pris en terrasse en regardant un magnifique jardin. Sans oublier le tram à 2 pas pour se rendre dans Bordeaux historique en 2 arrêts. En résumé une maison que nous recommandons vivement!
