Most enjoyable stay in a historical part of Bordeaux. Our room was spacious and well equipped, our host was attentive and provided everything we needed. The breakfast was delicious, she added something special every morning in addition to the croissants, bread,coffee and other normal offerings. Frédérique was a delightful host. We will return if ever in the area and recommend to our friends.

Location, charm, price and hospitality: outstandin

Location: Excellent! The B&B is in the central part of the city, close to sites, shopping and restaurants. Hospitality: Excellent! We were greeted and treated very well. Accommodation: in a building many hundreds of years old with great charm! Breakfast: quite good and generous, with dietary restrictions respected. We would stay here again, but it must be shared that the bedrooms are idiosyncratic, even funky, as the building has not had a complete modernization. However, our bathroom was modern and scrupulously clean. This is an ideal B&B for getting to know the proprietor and for their guidance in seeing Bordeaux!

I loved the accommodation, lovely building with real character, nice and clean, light and airy. The host was super friendly and made me feel so welcome. It’s in a great spot, really central within walking distance of the Main Street Saint Catherine and a nice square virtually next door. I really couldn’t recommend this highly enough.

Very bad to start, but got better

We arrived early and was disappointed to find that the property was locked with no one available so that we could drop our bags off. When we returned to check in, we mentioned this and was then subjected to a heated discussion from the owner stating that this was her home and not a hotel and we should have made a prior appointment to arrive early. On one trip back to the property, the owner was met and she offered for us to return 30 mins later to drop our bags off and in hind sight, we should have accepted. We then also tried to say that this information should be on her advert but she spoke over the top of us and it was finally on the third time of asking to be shown to our room or given a refund that she did show us to our room. However after this issue, we found the room to be lovely with a new bathroom and the property beautiful. The owner was helpful regarding restaurant recommendations and knowledgeable about the city.

Superbe !

Très bon accueil ! La maison est juste magnifique et ne peut pas être mieux située. Le parking est à 3 pas. Mathieu est un hôte hors pair. Merci mille fois pour tout. Nous sommes restées 3 nuits mes deux filles et moi - même et nous y retournerons. Le petit déjeuner est très copieux et contient des produits très sains.

I felt comfortable in this 3rd floor apartment and I was able to drop off my bag and even check-in a bit early. It was very hot and there was no AC, but I would stay here again. It had everything you meed, just like home and it was a nice change from a hotel.

Certes, le propriétaire est aimable et serviable, le petit-déjeuner copieux et l'endroit très bien situé. Mais la chambre Roxane manque de confort : surtout le ventilateur fonctionne mal et n'arrive pas à rafraîchir la chambre, les rideaux et double-rideaux sont trop longs et trainent par terre, les volets sont très dégradés, la chambre est petite et le seul endroit pour déposer la valise est l'âtre de la cheminée.

Et ualmindeligt hyggeligt gammelt, lille hotel med skøn atmosfære. Bygningen er fra 1600 tallet. Stort og rummeligt værelse, og fint badeværelse. Morgenmaden, der er frisk og dejlig bliver indtaget i en lille hyggelig spisestue. Værten Mathieu er utrolig venlig og hjælpsom.
