Roaches, dirt and very scary neighborhood

This cottage was perfect for 4 adults . Charming and unbelievably clean! It was perfect for our stay for a local wedding.

I stayed in the cute apartment for three weeks while starting a new job in Covington. The apartment was clean and spacious and also very accommodating to my small dog. The owner was highly responsive, particularly during Hurricane Ida, during which I chose to evacuate. She also helped me extend my stay when I was in need. I highly recommend this VRBO!

We rented this property after our house was torn apart by hurricane ida. Tammie could not have been more amazing. The property is well kept and it was the perfect place to relax. The atmosphere is cozy and had ample room for my two daughters, sister in law, and nephew. You won’t be disappointed staying at this property or any others that Tammie owns. I will definitely book with her again! Next time it’ll be under better circumstances.

In searching for a weekend getaway with a “pool” to take our 3 & 4 year old boys, I was fortunate enough to come across Sunhillow!! It had the perfect natural pool and much more! Thanks to “Mr. Builder” who got his new nickname from our 3 year old and Mrs Karen, our boys were able to observe the best course in nature up close and personal. The deer are beautiful and to be able to hand feed one was amazing. The fawns are so cute. To top things off, Mrs Karen included the boys in helping her put out the feed for the deer! There were many “firsts” for them, the deer, a bat, a leatherback turtle at the beach, playing fetch with Charlie, sleeping in a log “cabinet” and so much more. The log cabin is beautiful, comfortable and cozy and has everything you need- we especially enjoyed the country eggs that were provided for breakfast! We were 3 generations- we brought grandparents with us and they enjoyed it just as much as we did. We had plenty of room to relax and cool off both inside and out. The boat and canoes were a great bonus and the golf cart also a nice addition to make it to the beach and enjoy the beauty of the property. Can’t say enough good things about this trip but our boys will talk about it for a long time! Thank you Karen and Bill for being such great hosts, including our boys in the experience of your day to day lives to maintain that wonderful farm and helping us make wonderful childhood memories for our boys! Everything was just as pictured and so clean and beautifully furnished. Only wish we had more time to enjoy the stay. It was absolutely perfect.

It was clean the property and a view of the traffic close stores, close gas stations.

Although an older hotel is was clean and well located to area food and activities. The staff was friendly and courteous. The only negative was the condition of the road/drive entering the hotel. Very rough do advise to drive slow.

Nice & quiet like I love it!! Perfect for a quick stay & visit in town.
