"WE SAW A BEAR! We picked this hotel as the creek looked beautiful, and it was exactly the same as pictured. The room was spacious and was really cosy with country cabin vibes. Check in was simple and there was ample parking. The creek was pretty and from the balcony we did get to see a black bear walking along the creek. Short drive from Great smoky mountains NP. Much preferred area to gatlinburg itself which is crazy. Shuttle available. Only downside was that there wasn’t any logs available for us to use the fireplace."

"It was a great hotel. Loved the breakfast buffet and it was close to the trolley stop. Will definitely be back."

"A lot of mold and mildew in my shower. I had a room with the walk in shower."

"They tried to put me in a shady area away from the regular hotel but they moved me, staff were nice. Be sure you asked to be at the main hotel and not the one by the campground."
