"Quaint. Lake of Egypt area and out of the bustle of Marion proper. A little dated; but pretty good bang for your buck. Rooms are nice. Beds are comfortable and if you want a hint of curry...you may want to bring some. Stay here - a no nonsense inn."

"It’s a cute little cabin. The furniture was comfy and so was the bed. The only problem we had was that it got very cold in the living room and we couldn’t find extra blankets. Other than that, it was a great stay. "

"The tiny cabin had everything we needed for a short 2 night stay in the Lake of Egypt area. Not far from the property is the Cross Eyed Bear for good food and drinks, but with a great kitchen set up with a grill, you might not need to or want to go out to eat. Beautiful hiking is about a 15 min drive away, and you’re also about 20-30 minutes from picturesque wineries. Loved our stay, and we will have to be back!"
