Clayton Hotel Leopardstown
4.0 star property
8.4 out of 10, Very good, (1006)
"The room was clean, shower pressure was excellent. Drink prices were fair and the lounge area was really lovely and welcoming. Breakfast seemed reasonably priced the selection was a bit limited. The biggest complaint I would have is that our room overlooked the trash area which was overflowing and very dirty with a lot of mixed materials in each bin. I get that a refuse area is never going to be spotless but when you know a room looks directly onto it it should be better maintained. "

"Our booking requested, a queen bed, non-smoking on a high floor. A 2nd floor room was offered (out of 7), they said they were unable to help. Reception are painfully slow, with a few guests in a queue staff seem in no hurry, leaving the desk or otherwise busy. Location excellent, it is quiet, but close to all the hustle and bustle, entertainment and sights to see of Dublin.
