Very clean room, wonderful house owners that are very kind and helpful. Was a wee bit chilly as the bathroom window wouldn’t latch and the radiator wouldn’t work but otherwise it was amazing!

Perfect amount of space, lovely owners!

We had a lovely stay at The Sandgate. The room was fantastic, the staff were so friendly, and it was perfect for the event we were attending, honestly would recommend this place to everyone.

Cheap and Cheerful

All I needed was a bed, shower, somewhere to keep my bag and be within walking distance of Winter Gardens. This place ticked all the boxes. All I cared about was that room/en suite was clean and it was. Nice place with friendly owners it is ideal if you're planning to be out all day just need somewhere to lay your head. Thanks guys. If I come back again will be looking you up.

Had a brilliant time in Blackpool staying at the benson for 4 nights with my son “ perfect location perfect hotel very lovely staff and overall great place . Loved it that much that we booked to come back down again in a couple a months time , would recommend this hotel to anyone especially people for young kids as it’s perfect distance from both the tower and pleasure beach - also we got a sea view and the beach is literally across the road with the tram and bus stop there also “ loved it

lovely hotel lovely clean room very nice lady Christine.. my only complaint is that the bed was a bit hard and squeaked and so did all the floorboards even the ones above and no food .. but apart from that cant fault it was lovely near to the beach xxx

great little hotel

Arrived late on a Saturday, got greeted by a lovely woman who gave us our key (we was in room 3). Took some details and off to the room we went, the room was very small, (this did not bother us as we only needed room for sleep) double bed which was so comfortable, draws with tea and coffee on inside the draws was a sewing kit and a hair dryer (cute idea) and a leaflet about the hotel and what to do in an emergency. little round table and chair. Shower cubicle, sink and toilet (all private to that room, as i no some places its shares bathrooms) all nicely decorated, bedding clean (looked like new bedding). We did't use the wifi so i cant comment on that, there was a TV on the wall but we only used this for music when we got ready to go out. The location was quite central. Overall we enjoyed our stay here and if we go to Blackpool again we will definitely book this hotel and advise friends to do so.

Nice hotel good location

The hotel is situated between the South pier and the central pier.... It's a basic room only hotel with ensuite rooms.... the rooms were small but tidy and the bed was comfortable. We were advised to us a church carpark a short walking distance from the hotel this was approx £25 for the week. Everything you need is within walking distance so no need to use the car and it was quite safe where it was.

Room was meant to be double room but it was far too small, I was booked for two night but only made it one night and the room was too hot to sleep, the window was open all night but made no differents I will not stay here again
