What a hidden gem, lovely cosy hotel, spotlessly clean, very comfy beds, great breakfast - all topped off with a lovely welcome and excellent value. We would stay here again without hesitation.

Nice little hotel

Nice little hotel, bed was comfortable. We had a small double for the night and it was absolutely fine for our needs. Staff are good and looked after us well. Can't fault it at all for what we paid and parking available across the road, so unlike hotels in the centee of town you will always be handy for your car.

Loved it!

Great location by pleasure beach and free on road parking. Friendly staff who arranged taxi and recommended lovely cocktail bar in town. Comfy beds and fab breakfast - what more could you want for a great stay!

A really good small hotel where you feel taken care of. The place is spotless, the bedroom a good size and comfortable. The bathroom is small, but adequate. The room comes very well-equipped. The street is quiet and the area safe. An excellent full English breakfast is served from 8:30 am. There is a small and comfortable bar in the hotel. It is excellent choice tucked away but convenient to Pleasure Beach.

For a small hotel it has so much more going for it than the bigger ones .As we walked through the door we were greeted with a smile .Room was small but more than adequate and very comfortable and spotless .We were treated more like freinds than guests and a few drinks in the very cosy bar went down well .The breakfast was just perfect in every way and the staff were extremely nice and friendly. I wouldnt hesitate to stay at this lovely gem of a hotel again .

Convenient location, good value

I chose the hotel due to its position, walking distance from the entrance of Blackpool Pleasure Beach. It was very convenient also to visit the rest of Blackpool as very close to the tram stop. There is a small parking in front of the hotel, but parking on the streets around the hotel is plentiful and free. Staff was polite and helpful and breakfast was very good and generous. Room was slightly small, but offered great value for money and it was clean and quiet. All in all I would go back and recommend it.

Nice stay

The hotel was nice for what we needed, especially in terms of location as it was just a 5 minute walk from the pleasure beach. The rooms were very clean and the bed was very comfortable. I didn't realise just how small they were, but that was my fault for not checking the dimensions. On arrival, the gentleman who welcomed us thought I had booked through expedia (at the time I couldn't remember who I booked with) and explained that if I wanted to support small businesses then I should book directly and that expedia take a long time to pay them. I got the impression that he was a little annoyed with us, as when we then asked for an iron, he was a little rude in his response. However when we were leaving, he was very polite.

Attitude of the owner

On Arrival we found owner to initially be rude and abrupt, to the point we thought we did something wrong or offended him. Once in the room my wife and I discussed the attitude of the guy and talked about going elsewhere because of his attitude towards us. We decided to stay only because we didn't know the area or how difficult it would be to get a hotel elsewhere. This all stemmed from the advert on the website saying Free Breakfast included, which it turned out, is untrue. Before we knew his name (We never did find out his name), we knew that breakfast was not included and Expedia had sold the room cheaper than he would have liked. Maybe things are different in Blackpool, but where I'm from this isn't the customers fault or a reason to be speaking badly to them.
