The Gertie is a 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom cabin with a pull-out sectional couch and a small fenced in area off the back door for your fur babies. We also have another cabin on the property if you are looking for 2 cabins at the same location or if this one is booked check out the Gordie cabin! Come relax at this peaceful farm-stay surrounded by animals and nature. Our neighbors are the Highland Farm Givens retirement community so if you are visiting family you are a short walk away. At your fully furnished cabin you will enjoy feeling a sense of solitude, while also being within a mile of downtown Black Mountain. The cabin is equipped with 2 King Sleep Number mattresses, a 220v luxury hot tub for 5 people, propane firepit and more. Fresh eggs from our chickens are waiting on your corner with animal snacks, and on-site owners assure you will need for nothing. RV/trailer parking available. Small wedding ceremonies can be accommodated for an additional fee with the renting of both cabins.
