"We had a truly excellent stay with Mark and Michelle! The amenities, location, and space were all clean and exactly as described, perfect for visiting Big Bend National Park. We thoroughly enjoyed the hot tub, starry sky, and wildlife sightings and slept comfortably every night.Mark and Michelle greeted us upon arrival and showed so much hospitality throughout our stay that we felt like family. They were extremely helpful and kind, frequently offering great recommendations for our time in West Texas, including tips for visiting Boquillas while in Big Bend. We thoroughly enjoyed spending time with them on their porch in the evenings, but always felt that we had enough privacy when we wanted it. All told, I highly recommend staying with Mark and Michelle! You would be hard pressed to find better hosts anywhere. "
"Beautiful area. Small but adequate. Host was easy to communicate with. Appreciated the outdoor area with the propane fire. The birds were endless entertainment at the filled bird feeders. "
"Homely RV...beautiful place...
Rat droppings in the kitchen and all had to be careful...washed all our dishes thoroughly always..also in the bedroom area...
Overall nice RV...Wilma was very informative "
"We visited Big Bend to view the recent meteor shower (Geminids) and this location with its Sky deck was just the ticket. Super secluded but lots of the comforts of home. Super spacious and after a day of hiking, we chilled and watched movies and games from their library. Fully stocked kitchen with tons of supplies, including for the BBQ and fire pit (we made s'mores every night). We took the owners recommendations and loaded up on groceries in Alpine before arriving. While the location is secluded it wasn't too far off from Terilingua and Big Bend. The directions were super descriptive and had zero issue with the drive to the house. We drove in a sedan and no problem with the unpaved portion of the road. I would recommend arriving during the day since it does get so dark. The owners were super communicative; so, don't hesitate to ask any questions. Would definitely recommend! "
