"I was presently surprised to learn the Heritage and History of the place and had no clue that famed racing driver Carrol Shelby and Dave Witts were the founders. Staff was awesome. There was a nice hiking trail right behind our cabin.

"Clean room until we tracked in sand. A rug at the door or a room to sweep up would be helpful. Air conditioning and ceiling fan worked well. Bring your own hairdryer. Shops and gas nearby. Close to Big Bend National Park."

"It was very clean, and the bed was comfy, the kitchen had everything we needed. We had a fire outside and watched the beautiful stars, only three cars drove by so it was nice and dark! I only wish the location was closer to the park, about 45 min, but that’s my fault, I should’ve looked! Otherwise, I would recommend."

"The trailer seemed much older than in the pictures, but it suited our needs for the week as we went back and forth to Big Bend NP. The hostess was very responsive and checked on us as one of the nights/mornings were very cold. We enjoyed walking around the property with the cactus starting their blooms. The Milky Way and dark sky area was the main reason to reserve this property. Our daughters have been wanting to capture it since they were little and it did not disappoint. Thank you for the great memories! "
