This room was spotless with a comfortable bed with what looked and felt like brand new linen. With a microwave etc, and lovely arm chairs, I’d say there was more room and more comfort than any air bnb we’ve stayed in, fir a very reasonable rate. Although the Motel is not new it’s extemeky well maintained, freshly painted etc. The staff were extremely helpful and accommodating even with our 4am departure. Excellent security which we were very relieved about with a fully laden tray in our Ute...

Great little motel opposite the aquatic centre. Clean and tidy with good aircon. The family room was excellent for 2 adults and 2 teens. Secure car park at night. Will stay here again.

The service was excellent, it exceeded my expectations.
It is in a quiet and relaxing setting and the pools are Great.
Further to that, the food was exquisite, cooked to perfection.

Reasonable fee
Staff only talked with over the phone but seemed very kind
As we were booking in quite late, were told not to worry if we were checking out a bit later than normal
Which we thought was very kind

The best area to stay in Biniguy is within the village itself, particularly along the main street, which offers convenient access to local amenities.
Biniguy is a small, quiet agricultural village, and staying centrally means you're close to the few local shops and services. The main street, which is part of the Gwydir Highway, is where you'll find the general store and the local pub – the Biniguy Hotel. This central location means you're never far from a friendly face or a basic supply.
For travellers seeking a tranquil escape and a taste of rural Australian life, staying in Biniguy village is ideal. It's a great base for those interested in exploring the surrounding farmlands or simply unwinding away from big city hustle. Couples looking for a peaceful retreat will appreciate the quiet evenings and the opportunity to experience a genuine country community.
Families looking for a relaxed holiday will find Biniguy village a pleasant option. With its open spaces and minimal traffic, children have room to play, and the simpler pace of life offers a refreshing change.
When is the best time to go to Biniguy?
The best time to visit Biniguy, New South Wales, is during the cooler, drier months from April to October.
During this period, you'll experience pleasant daytime temperatures, typically ranging from 18°C to 25°C, with less humidity. This makes it ideal for exploring the natural beauty of the region, such as the nearby Gwydir Wetlands or strolling through the town itself without the discomfort of intense heat.
Travellers seeking outdoor activities, like birdwatching or hiking in the surrounding national parks, will find these months perfect. The lower rainfall ensures trails are more accessible and the wildlife is often more active. It's also a great time for photography, with clear skies and comfortable conditions.
For those looking for a relaxing getaway, avoiding the peak summer heat ensures a more comfortable experience, whether you're enjoying local produce or simply unwinding.
