5/5 Excellent
"We had the premier King bed room with an wesome direct ocean view just like in the pictures. We fell asleep with sound of the ocean waves. Room was a little dated but clean with a small fridge, small dining table. There was even a wood stove with logs provided. Swimming pool was slightly cool but okay enough to swim. Hot tub there to warm you up. Their restaurant available for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Walks on the beach if you wish. Overall, a wonderful stay."

"The view is magnificent, nice touch with the binoculars and ‘sea lion noise earplugs’ in the room. Restaurants on property are excellent, and room service is prompt and delicious. The rooms are very comfortable - from the valets to housekeeping, the staff is exceptional. Love being right down by Cannery Row. We stayed for the firsttime three years ago, and have made it a part of every Monterey stay since. "

"Valet parking is absolutely worth it, the property is super walkable and there are so many pedestrians milling around. The front desk staff is incredibly thoughtful; they offered me extra water when I checked in, and a free (very nice) umbrella during an unexpected rain shower. Very nice, upscale property. I'd stay here again."

"My husband and I stayed here for 2 nights and we absolutely loved it. The staff was nice and helpful and we loved how they offered so many treats throughout our stay. They serve complimentary wine late afternoon/early evening and freshly baked cookies in the evening. Their complimentary champagne breakfast is amazing! We were super impressed with the different options they had and everything was delicious. I also love how they can make you pretty much any coffee beverage you’d like. The grounds is beautiful and walking distance to the beach. They also offer shuttle service from 5 pm- 11pm but if you opt to walk to Ocean Ave for dinner, it’s just a short walk away. Highly recommended this hotel! Look forward to our next visit! "
