"Lovely place on the water. I stayed there when the rates in Key West were too crazy to consider. 40 min drive, but you can still wake up on the water and watch the sun rise. Rooms are clean and comfortable. Nice to have a fridge and microwave. Staff is super friendly. Would recommend. "

"Our family of 10 just spent a heavenly week at Sterling Bay House and we could not love this house more! The house itself is just incredible—spacious, well organized and thought out, beautifully decorated, with so many great amenities! It truly feels like a small private resort. The location on Little Torch Key is perfect—it feels private and secluded, yet it is just a short five minute drive to the grocery store and pickleball courts. It’s also in a perfect location for a day trips to Key West or Marathon, which came in handy when we had a couple of windy days. None of us were ready to leave Sterling Bay House at the end of the week! We are also so impressed with the owners, Steve and Whitney. Steve is super responsive and helpful, and quickly fixed a couple of very minor issues that popped up. He’s also just a genuinely nice guy! We would highly recommend SBH to others, and will hopefully be returning ourselves sooner rather than later! "

"The house is sufficient for 2 couples, 3 in a pinch (with only 2 showers) and 2 (only) moderately sized vehicles. It was clean, kitchen sufficient for cooking. Host responsive. Exterior furniture needs some TLC but nothing that prohibited us from having a nice time. Boat dock ok for 23' boat. Decent high tide launch on the other side of island. Take your own Roku for any tv beyond basic Xfinity cable. Internet not stable some times, may just be what is available on Little Torch"

"The room was beautiful; very clean and spacious. The property was in an excellent location, tucked away on a private beach and the key deer were adorable. It was an easy drive to both Marathon and Key West. Would definitely stay here again. "

"This is a very special place. You pay for the tranquility and the peace. You have a private beach all to yourself. And the deer are super friendly (yes). A great plus is you can BBQ on the beach yourself. Please fix the big fridge and make more kitchen utensils and plates and glasses available. That would make it even more positive. I would come back.
