We have stayed here twice and most recently in March 2024. This place is one of the best and always on our list for preferred stays.
This recent stay however was not as premium as our previous experiences. A blurbing water and grinding noise kept us awake most of the night (the next morning it was evidently the outside private pool level was low and the pump was running dry every few minutes). However at midnight this was not on my troubleshooting list of todos. Two calls to the receptionist were simply rebuffed as unable to do or call any maintenance personnel until the morning. We approached the desk personnel the next morning and asked that a manager contact us. We were assured this would happen by both reception folks. We did not receive any call nor visit from any manager in the following 36 or so hours and left the island after that. No calls at all. For $1000 a night I expect H2O to address any faculty problem almost immediately.
It was very disappointing that the H2O team couldn’t care less to address our concern, which, after all is what their business should be.
