"Convenient location for our trip. Quiet. Clean room, comfortable beds. Was startled by need for "deposit" as the room was already paid for. Was not aware of deposit until checking in. Side entry way door had worn curled outside carpet which could be a tripping hazzard to guests. Was nice enough that I would stay there again."

From the moment we checked in, we were warmly welcomed with Mary’s delightful cheesecake, setting the tone for our stay and making us feel right at home. As someone with experience in managing kitchens and restaurants, I can confidently say that Mary is an exceptional cook. The following morning, we enjoyed the best Eggs Benedict I’ve ever tasted! But Mary is not just a phenomenal cook; she is also a multi-talented general contractor. Her intelligence and diverse skill set shone through as she shared stories and insights about her life, showing genuine interest in ours. It was refreshing to engage with someone so thoughtful and accommodating. The ambiance of her home is equally impressive. Beautifully decorated and meticulously landscaped, the entire property was clean and well cared for, creating a serene environment for relaxation. Conveniently located near a casino where we attended a show, Windsong retreat 2 is an ideal spot for anyone visiting the area. We left with a sense of fulfillment and a promise to return. In fact, I don’t think we’ll need another reason to visit; Mary’s hospitality and the amazing food are more than enough to bring us back. Highly recommend this delightful retreat!"
