"Michael and Anne were so attentive and wonderful! They checked on us throughout the weekend and made sure we were having a good time. We had a much needed relaxing and peaceful weekend. We will definitely come back in the future. If you need a place to get away from the busy world this is it!"

"We spoke to our host GAYNELL a few times before we stayed @property. Very helpful. Showed us where everything was. We had large rooms to to relax when we weren't fishing or crabbing .fished @ night too on the long PIER. . crab nets were provided but no crabs caught. Maybe next time. Lovely to wake ..."

"This rental was beautiful and had everything you could need. The owners were very nice and accommodating and we truly enjoyed our stay. The pier is amazing, and we caught several nice size redfish and trout. I would definitely recommend and would stay here again!"

If you are a non-smoker -- STAY AWAY! The moment we entered we smelled cigarette smoke.
"The listing instructions - rules for staying at the property state "no smoking", but when we entered the home, we smelled cigarette smoke and this gets into your clothes. Oh, and the bedroom suites. WOW. Each one of us felt so refreshed and in love with the landscape after our stay. Easy access to the town of Slidell for amenities and only 40 min from New Orleans. We are all dreaming of our stay, and planning for the next time we can enjoy the estate. What a truly lovely home to be able to visit!"
