THE SETTING & THE ATMOSPHERE
Mellow is a 2-storey townhouse ideally located in Biarritz.
THE HOUSE
On the first floor, the living room and the kitchen. On the first and second floor, two beautiful bedrooms with their shower room. It is to be noted that the bedroom on the second floor is open on the staircase. Presence of an additional bed which allows to welcome a family of 5 persons. Indigo parking card at the Sainte-Eugénie parking lot.
WHAT WE LOVE
The location. Everything is within walking distance: the beach, restaurants, stores, the market...
THE NEIGHBORHOOD
The advantage of staying at Mellow is that everything is within walking distance! Les Halles, 100 meters away, is THE PLACE to stroll, have a drink, chat with the shopkeepers and especially buy their delicious typical Basque products. A little further up on rue Gambetta, there are many other restaurants to try. A little further down, Place Clémenceau and Rue Mazagran with all their stores. The beaches are also just a few meters away.
ARRIVAL AND DEPARTURE TIMES
As a general rule, arrivals are from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm, and departures from 8:00 am to 10:00 am. For any arrival or departure before 8am and after 7pm, an additional fee will be charged:
From 7pm to 10pm - 50€.
From 10pm to midnight - 80€.
From midnight to 6am - 120€.
From 6am to 8am - 80€.

A perfectly located accommodation, unfortunately with some shortcomings like: The main room was dark because of the black-out curtains, which you had to use, if you did not want people to look right into the apartment. Coathooks were very loose in the wall, so there was concern about hanging up jackets and coats. The bedroom on the second floor has no door and therefore little privacy. In addtion, the second bath only has a bathtub without a shower enclosure, so showering is only possible while seated. Ants in the kitchen and left-over cake in the freezer.
Parking is not available dircetly at the residence, but in a public car park 7 minutes away. Cleanliness is superficial, if you take a closer look ...
Conclusion - as mentioned in the beginning, the location of the apartment is very good, condition and comfort could be better for the price. Price/performance ration should be better, especially considering that it is described as NEW.
