"We stayed one night while visiting The Ark Encounter. What an amazing tent/cabin! We absolutely loved it and wished we were staying the whole weekend. The air conditioning kept up wonderfully for it was very hot day. I loved the "tent" aspect of hearing the chirping at night, but being comfortable in a bed with air. "We loved the location and how peaceful it was. I'm a senior and I found that walking to the bathroom in the middle of the night uphill got old but we were told about that so I expected it. We had the tent that was the one farthest from the bathrooms, which didn't help. The only thing I was upset about was they had a coffee pot, coffee but no water or cups. Didn't understand that. I would definitely stay there again if I was in the area. "

"We had such a great time staying in one of the tents. We had coffee on the front porch in the morning, soaking in the fresh mountain air and a campfire in the evening to wind down. The bed was comfy. Im glad we brought extra blankets from home because it got chilly at night. The only downside is that the med evac helicopter is located close by the campground and it flew frequently. Pretty loud. "

"Pros: The “tents” were very nice. The beds were comfortable. The refrigerator and freezer work really well. The bathrooms were very nice, much better than I was picturing. We felt very safe.
