Plenty of choice for nearby cafes, restaurants and shops. Excellent breakfast selection - everything you would expect, plus local smoked salmon and herring. Opt for room with harbour view and wake up to a picture postcard every morning. Efficient, friendly, helpful reception staff. Very good English spoken. Perfect spot if, like myself, you have mobility issue as everything I have mentioned accessible 'on the flat'."

"Great to stay at this hotel as location was very convenient, with easy access to local attractions, restaurants, and transport links etc. Had an issue with incomplete birthday package that I purchase but a staff Kevin was very helpful, who resolved it. We enjoyed the 26 North (Hotel restaurant), foods were nice and staff were very professional. Would definitely stay here again."
