Let’s start with the down side. You have to drag your luggage up a few steps to get into the hotel. But who cares? This is a very nice hotel in an excellent location near everything you want to see and do. The breakfast is terrific with a huge selection. But what really made our stay is the service we received. Warm and friendly, every staff member made us feel welcome. I highly recommend staying at this property whenever you’re in Bergen.

Possibly the best breakfast buffet I’ve ever had. The space breakfast hall is the former stock exchange of Norway and is quite a lovely spot. Room was clean, with all we needed, and the hotel staff were always friendly and helpful. The location is within walking distance of all the big sights of Bergen. Would wholeheartedly recommend it!

Beautiful room with gorgeous high ceilings, quiet location despite being very central, friendly and helpful staff. Beautiful flowers and in room fruit and treats, comfy bed, large bathroom. Parking is a while away but can stop car outside to load luggage.

Beautiful hotel in a perfect location...The room as large and very nice, the hotel is beautiful, location could not have been better...just steps from the fish market and shopping in the harbor...oh and do not miss the breakfast buffet -it's excellent!

Very nice hotel in great location in central harbor. Very walkable location. Building was an excellent conversion/renovation of historic bank building, well designed. Rooms have potential to be great but a few design details were poorly thought out and inconvenient. Very helpful staff.

The location was unbeatable. The hotel had a charm about it rather than the cookie cutter mould. The staff were all friendly and helpful. The room was large and was quaint, everything worked, a vase of real roses was an added personal touch. The lighting at the far side was poor and needs improvement. The bed side table was low and inconvenient.
