"We were a little disappointed on check in to be told we were not staying in the main hotel building but in an apartment block further up the street. We guessed this was because we were a party of three. It was a little odd as we had not read or been informed via Expedia this could be the case. Upon entering the apartment we could quickly see that the apartment was huge, tastefully decorated and well thought out. It just meant we had to walk back up the street for breakfast each morning, which was so worthwhile as it was very tasty with plenty of choice. It was a shame we didn’t use the main site’s facilities such as pool and indoor spa which would have been a bit of a faff but it was still all available to us. If you’re a couple I’m sure the rooms within the hotel are lovely. The town is picturesque and we really enjoyed our stay. Trips to the Eagles Nest and Kongissee lake are a must."

"The apartment and location are excellent, 5 stars. 5 minute walk to all the restaurants in town. The host needs to give more details about what to expect upon check in, I felt unsure about what to expect even on the day of. I received a message a week or so prior from the property owner, and she gave me the property managers number but when I asked her a follow up question I never received a response. Things to know: If traveling from the US make sure you download WhatsApp to contact the property manager on the day of check in. There is a 18.60 euro charge that is collected upon arrival that you must pay in cash. The host doesn’t tell you this. Parking is convenient, right across the street from the apartment and is 5 euro for the whole day. I never received the guest card that I was supposed to get for use while in Berchtesgaden. I was asked to check out at 10 instead of 10:30. No reason was given. This made my morning very rushed."

"Wir haben zu zweit uns in der großzügigen Wohnung wie zuhause gefühlt. Der Empfang von Frau Münchow war sehr herzlich und persönlich, sie hat uns gutes Informationsmaterial und Tipps für unsere E-Bike Touren und Ausflüge gegeben, die sehr hilfreich waren. Der Blick vom Balkon auf den Watzmann war Traumhaft. Unser Auto konnten wir direkt vor dem Haus parken und für unsere E-Bikes hatten wir auch eine Unterstellmöglichkeit. Wir können diese Unterkunft sehr empfehlen und kommen gerne wieder :-)"
