It’s in the center of the little town; the breakfast is very good. The room is spacious and clean but a little bit old though. For the price paid, no complaints!

The staff were friendly and happy to allow us to leave our bags when we arrived early. Very comfortable and spacious junior suite with a view to the Eagle's Nest on a clear day. The Indoor Pool was really nice with towels and changing facilities provided. It was no problem for us, but be aware that whilst the Expedia entry says there is a lift in the building, that is only reached after a dozen or so stairs up to reception and then the same again with quite a distance to walk to the lift on the 1st floor. Breakfast buffet was plentiful with good variety.

Great Hotel!

The location is perfect, you get a beautiful view of Berchtesgaden from the breakfast hall. Plus it is a 5 minute walk to the central bus/train station, and close to beautiful trails.

Quaint, great breakfast

Older hotel, but favourite of our trip! Large room with walk-in closet, sitting area and balcony. Great breakfast, with tables looking out at the mountains.

This hotel is centrally located and within walking distance to shops and restaurants. The view from the dining room is outstanding and has an unobstructed view of the mountains. The pool is a bonus and the staff are friendly and helpful. I have visited several times and will return again soon.

We were upgraded to a room with a mountain view and a balcony. The clerk at reception was very useful and spoke great English. The breakfast was very good and had lots to choose from. The hotel is very well situated straight in the mountains and a short drive to many attractions. Because we went at the end of March and beginning of April, not everything was open but still enjoyed our time.

Best hotel view

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful hotel, our views from our balcony were amazing! The young lady that checked us in was so kind and friendly, she gave us a great recommendation on dinner (Golden Bear) which was so fun and delicious! Then she told us where to go for a nightcap at a local bar near by! Then to have a delicious breakfast in the morning before we left was perfect!
