This tiny home served us well. It was centrally located for our travel plans to explore the Hoh Rain Forest, La Push, Rialto beach and a day trip to Neah Bay. It was tucked in creekside well off the highway but also close enough for quick HWY 101 access. The neighborhood felt safe and a nice walk to the lake! There is a corner store nearby. It has its own onsite private parking spot for easy unloading and loading of the car. The cabin has a warm wood interior throughout and is well stocked and maintained. The sofa and coffee table allowed for reading and planning. The bed was tucked in on an upper loft. The access to the loft is more like a steep staircase with nice railings to grab for assistance. We are both able bodied and had no issues. The bathroom was well stocked with towels, shampoo and a hairdryer. They even included a bottle of Poo-pourri spray! The kitchen was also well stocked with microwave, coffee maker, hot plate, plates, silverware, cups and mugs. The nights are full of stars and frog song will serenade you to sleep. The sofa was a sleeper sofa so if the steep climb to the upper bed is not for you there is that option but it would be smaller. There's a bbq and corn hole for those interested. There is a large lawn space behind. You can enjoy a nice spot set up just outside the porch with outdoor rug, table and two seater chair that rocked. You can tell this is a well managed and well thought out tiny home. Perfect for two adults.
The home itself was clean and well kept. It’s our first experience in a tiny house and I’m sure our last. The home was fine, although tight in the bathroom. Crawling across the floor to our bed in the loft was challenging and you pray you don’t need to pee in the middle of the night. The area leading to the home was run down, so we didn’t venture for a walk. It was close to Forks and the park. Blakely’s was good for burgers. There’s not a ton of choices for hotels/vrbo in the area. It served the purpose.
