"The metal roof was really loud during the several storms that came through, but that's probably not the usual weather. There needs to be another suitcase stand in the closet, that would really help since there's no dresser. The bathroom barn door needs adjusted, it was kind of hard to open with no handle on the inside, and it came off the track easily. Decent place otherwise, close to a lot of nice places. I recommend the breakfast place "The Little Pie Shop and Cafe" 2 minute to the east, super cheap and good food."

"Beautiful unit, clean and had everything you could need. The host was quick to respond. Beds were comfy and the couches were great for an afternoon nap. It was a great place for the girl cousins to have a getaway weekend."

"Beautiful location and view!Had some negative issues. Key pad didn’t function upon arrival. We figured it out that it needed new batteries. No closet in master bedroom as closet was locked for housekeeping supplies. Maybe the supplies should be located in lower level/basement. No luggage racks, had to utilize toddler beds. A/C in master bedroom locked, couldn’t change, very cold. Need new mattresses. Basement flooded every time it rained, possible outside trench problems and hole in foundation. We were advised to clean it up, but who wants to do that on vacation. Very damp and musty in basement area. Lots of dead bugs in windows, etc. Crawling ants were in kitchen. Dishwasher did not work. Front porch furniture very dirty with debris, leaves, etc. Not easy access to the lake, needs steps to walk down. Property needs some tender loving care prior to another rental coming in. Hopefully these issues will be addressed."

"We had a fantastic time in your adorable home. We wanted to have a girls trip not too far away from home, and this was perfect! Love how it was decorated and designed. It was nice to have so much room for us to spread out. We loved the big table for playing games. My favorite part was sitting outside in the private backyard yard sipping coffee each morning. I even saw deer!"
