"The house was beautiful and spotlessly clean, and we had a wonderful stay. We loved it so much that we're already talking about bring some more family members with us next summer. As others have mentioned in their reviews, the wonderful fresh produce, frozen foods, and other provisions were such a welcome surprise. I have stayed in many summer rentals over the years and have never seen anything like it. Crooked Lake is just lovely, and Anne's house is exactly as described. She was the perfect host, and I recommend her house to anyone."

"The home was really lovely and it was so nice to have a bedroom and bathroom for each of my friends and myself. The view was amazing and we loved sitting on the veranda, looking at the lovely lake. Unfortunately, we did not realize that it was on a busy road so it was a little loud. Some other feedback we wanted to share, is some of the furniture could use some updating. The sectional is very dated, uncomfortable and dips in the middle. One of the 2 armchairs seemed newer. Honestly, the most comfortable place to sit, is the dining room, which definitely, was updated with beautiful comfortable furniture."

"The location is perfect, close to the destination spots. House is very old, has a musty odor and sulfur smell to the water, and we noticed missing smoke detectors and a loose stair banister on the way upstairs. Would be nice to have 2 showers. Plenty of towels, dishes, great porch facing the lake. Fun to sit on anytime of day and play games, cards etc. Overall a very nice time."
