Pros: good location with nice view, clean room and comfortable bed, good communication, convenient parking. Cons: room not at all soundproof, footsteps can be clearly heard, as well as road noise, very small bathroom and small bath towels.

Our check in code was wrong and when our reservation acknowledgment said this Boutique motel had thin walls and they provided ear plugs we were very wary about our stay. But after getting the door code straightened out, our room was very nice. Excellent shower and comfortable beds/pillows. All the rooms have a view of Lake Michigan. The room noise from our neighbors didn't seem unusually loud, very typical. We would stay there again.

Always a great place to stay. Clean rooms, nicely decorated. Excellent outdoor space to enjoy the view of the bay. Highly recommend and will definitely stay again.

The details of the booking were misleading. I booked a 650 sqft cabin and got a 300 sqft. Booked a king size bed but got a queen size. Details showed a fireplace but there wasn't one. This was a romantic get away for my wife and I and was disappointed in the details. Other than that the cabin was clean and well stocked with amenities. All in all we made the best of it and had a good stay.

Our stay was great! The view is amazing and I loved that all of the rooms face the water. The room was so comfortable, and its in a great location. The only thing I rated less than 5 stars was the upkeep of the property itself, it could have used some landscaping/weed treatment and the bugs were so bad outside our room/on the property. Overall, it was great and we would definitely return!

Room was clean. Ice machine for the complex doesn’t work and would not be replaced until someone is found to replace it. Date unknown. A GFI plug was tripped and the on site cleaning person found the trouble and reset it. Bed is very comfortable.

We stayed one nite here hoping it was more like what the photos portrayed. The staff was super helpful and responsive when we had an issue with our door code. The room was spacious, but greeted us with a musty smell as did some of the linens. The couple traveling with us, said their bed was uncomfortable, but linens were fine. The rooms were clean, although not fresh and polished as one would expect from the online photos. Basic amenities were provided which were sufficient for an overnite stay. This was a motel with outside access, but area was safe and there was a water view across the street. We didn’t have the experience we were expecting and probably wouldn’t stay here again, although others gathered outside seemed to be enjoying themselves.

The room was perfect for what I needed. Large comfortable king bed, nicely updated. It was extremely convenient to get downtown if you have a car. Literally like 4 minutes. The owners are also very responsive to messages which was very nice! A couple of small complaints were the WiFi was not very good — could stream the tv off and on. Also the key code was broken and door was very hard to open/shut. I was told it would be fixed but it never was during my stay. Once the door is fixed, this is an absolute 10/10 stay!

Great location, room was clean and comfortable. Appreciated the owners ability to accommodate my reservation through Expedia, even though same room type was not truly available for our entire stay. Will definitely stay again if we are back this way!
