"Clean, comfortable room nice pool"

"Travelers should beware that Otsego Resort's front desk closes early, like 5 pm, even in the summer. I and my family were arriving late, so I called ahead, before 5 pm, to let them know of my late arrival. I had to leave a message, and no one called me back. When we arrived a little before 10 pm the doors were locked and the lights off. We had to find accomodations elsewhere. When I called the next day, the attendant at the front desk apologized profusely and promised to give me a refund. There was a problem with my card, but she persisted until I did get a refund. I give her 5 stars, but for travelers who might be arriving late it's best to seek lodging elsewhere."

"We had an absolutely amazing stay and would recommend this cabin to anyone looking for a peaceful getaway! The cabin was spotless when we arrived, and the beds were so comfortable that everyone slept great. One of my favorite things was they had a rocking chair and I got to enjoy the view while rocking my youngest and saying "we truly needed this".The location was perfect. The private lake behind the cabin was one of our favorite parts of the trip. The fishing was incredible—we caught some of the biggest fish we've ever caught! There are also miles of nearby trails to explore, making it easy to enjoy the outdoors.If you're expecting a cabin that's completely isolated, just know there are two other homes nearby—but they're the owners' homes. They are incredibly respectful of your privacy and never bothered us. We still felt like we had our own private retreat, while knowing help was close by if we needed anything. It was the best of both worlds.The cabin is also in a fantastic location for day trips. We visited Mackinac Island, Tahquamenon Falls, the Mackinac Bridge, and Castle Rock, all within about an hour to an hour and a half . Gaylord is also close by and has plenty of great restaurants, so there was always something fun to do.When we asked our kids to rate the vacation, every one of them gave it a 10 out of 10! It was the perfect place to reconnect as a family, get outside, unplug from electronics, and make memories we'll always cherish. We can't wait to come back!"

"The house was perfect for our large family weekend. We had 8 adults and 3 kids and we were very comfortable with the amount of bedrooms and bathrooms. The kitchen and new deck accommodated us very well to cook large meals all weekend. The property is close enough to go to Otsego lake county/state park or to town for the day."
