Luxury Cortona view hilltop Villa

"This house was spectacular. Everything you think of with a luxury villa in Tuscany. The kitchen is fully equipped with all you need. We cooked every night at the house and had amazing sunset dinners. Coffee machine was great with fresh beans to grind. The pool was the most beautiful view, and the option to heat it was very nice. The kids loved it. We were even offered to pick some fresh tomatoes from the garden and they were amazing. Laundry room is fully stocked with iron, board, steam, etc. and separate dryer. The a/c units in each bedroom keep the rooms nice and cool for sleeping. The living areas has a huge comfy couch and tv to lounge. We stayed with two other families and we were all talking about staying again. We all loved it so much. The house itself is situated in a very central part close to towns and not a big drive to other major towns. Grocery was just down the street and a super nice hotel was at the bottom of the Hotel that we did a wine tasting one night and a superb dinner as well. The care taker does not speak English, but that was not a problem. We just used Google Translate and she was more than helpful and very kind. Can’t wait to go back!"

"Our family of four loved this rustic stone house. It was the perfect location to have as a home base for our Tuscan town hopping. It felt like home away from home. We wish we could have stayed longer. We love the quiet location and pool. We also enjoyed the provided olive oil soap. Our host was very accommodating and gave many suggestions for activities around the area."

"In general a good place to stay. Excellent pool and pool area to relax. Good location easy access to station and town and good parking provision. Initial room offer not so good but we were able to move to a much nicer room with no problem.Buffet breakfast good with many options. The only downside is no WiFi in the rooms but good WiFi in communal areas."

"Wir waren zum zweiten Mal dort. Für uns und unsere Hunde eine Oase der Ruhe und Entspannung. Paolo, der Besitzer hat einiges investiert in neue Matratzen, Kopfkissen, Küchenausrüstung und eine neue Auskleidung des Pools.Wir haben unseren Urlaub wieder genossen und schon wieder für 2027 gebucht."

"Schattiger Parkplatz nur 60 Schritte von der Unterkunft entfernt. Wir wurden seeehr freundlich mit selbst gebackenem Kuchen und anderen regionalen selbstgefertigten regionalen Spezialitäten empfangen, bekamen den Schlüssel überreicht und wurden in unser Ferienhaus persönlich eingewiesen. Es war alles vorhanden, was wir so brauchen konnten. Der Garten ist sehr gut eingezäunt und bietet schattige Plätze. Der Ausblick ist einfach grandios. In der Gerne ist von Montepulciano zu sehen. Wir haben morgens den Ausblick beim Frühstück genossen und abends den Sonnenuntergang bei einem Glas rotem Wein. Unsere Hunde wurden ebenfalls sehr freundlich durch die Gastgeberin empfangen. Beide Hunde fühlten sich auf "ihrem" Grundstück wohl. Die Besitzer des Hauses wohnen direkt nebenan. Wir haben bei Begegnungen gerne einen kurzen Smaltalk in englisch gehalten. Der Altdeutsche Schäferhund Achille hütet sein Grundstück, ist echt beeindruckend und nahm von mir gerne durch den Zaun Leckerlis an. Der Weg in den bezaubernden Ort Cortona ist knapp 20 Minuten kurz. Wir sind mit unseren Hunden jeden Abend am Lago Trasimeno spazieren gegangen. Die Fahrt zum großen kostenlosen Parkplatz am Campo del Sole dauert nur 15 Minuten. Die Lage des Hauses ist fantastisch. Die Kommunikation mit Billi Martine war von Beginn der Buchung, über die Anreise und Übergabe, vis zum Ende unserer Reise hervorragend. Vielen Dank dafür, dass wir bei dir zu Gast sein durften."

"Mauro was a welcoming and helpful host, promptly addressing any questions that arose during our stay. The property proved a wonderful place for a reunion of 6 of us, with ample room and multiple areas for enjoying meals together yet allowing us each some space of our own. Beautiful setting, great location for exploring the hill towns of Tuscany and Umbria and the area around Lake Trasimeno."
