Such a lovely room, really clean and so comfortable, really lovely host too, I could not recommend this beautiful B and B more and would absolutely stay there again

Not a friendly welcome. It seemed as if our booking was forgotten by the owner (but the mistake was not communicated to us). So, we were assigned a room we did not book. We booked the King Deluxe room with separate shower and bath tub, but got a standard double room (supposed to be a single room). When claiming this, the owner told us a room with bath tub would not exist (although pictures clearly show it). We were offered a 10 pound refund, which was definitely less than the price difference between the two rooms. Overall a very disappointing experience, as we were really looking forward to the booked room.

A nice place

Lovely welcome to a lovely B&B. The room was fine but I did have a little noise from the road. Breakfast is a communal affair which was a lovely way to start the day. There were a couple of small points that could be improved on in my opinion - toiletry in the bathroom has not been refilled, cap for the tap to denote it was the hot tap was missing, there was a knot and a small crack in the original doors of the room which let in light, and the floors from the room above creak - I’m a light sleeper.
