With a well-equipped kitchen, including a dishwasher, coffee maker and all amenities such as free Wi-Fi and smart TV, you'll feel right at home. Boasting a host of traditional features, the cottage is perfect for couples looking for a romantic break or small families wishing to explore. Accepting dogs, it really does tick all of the boxes. Just a short walk from Bath's fantastic array of shops, bars and restaurants and the nearby world famous Roman Baths and iconic Royal Crescent, you really can experience the best of what Bath has to offer.



    The Space:

    Step inside this charming cottage and discover a thoughtfully designed space across three stories. Enter into the cosy, fully equipped kitchen/diner, complete with a dishwasher, coffee maker, microwave, and oven, ready for your culinary adventures. With a dining table seating 4, it is perfect for enjoying meals, encased by plenty of the gorgeous original features of the cottage. From here, step outside to the secluded courtyard garden, an ideal spot for enjoying a morning coffee or an evening glass of wine. The garden is furnished with a table and seating for 4, has a gas BBQ for those balmy summer nights and is surrounded by lush greenery, providing a peaceful and private oasis from the hustle and bustle of city life. From the kitchen, make your way up the quaint, original 18th century, stone, spiral staircase to the first floor. The first floor welcomes you with a cozy living room featuring a luxurious corner sofa that converts into a comfortable sofa bed, perfect for relaxing whilst watching a movie or accommodating extra guests. A convenient WC is also located on this floor. Ascend further stairs to the second floor to find the bedroom, a tranquil retreat with a luxurious superking-size bed, promising a restful night's sleep. The room is decorated in calming tones, with soft lighting and ample storage, including a spacious wardrobe and bedside tables. We understand that everyone's needs are different so the bed can be split into twin beds if this would suit you better. The bathroom is also on this level, well-appointed with all the essentials, including a walk-in shower, fluffy towels, and complimentary toiletries. Throughout the cottage, you'll find a blend of original features and modern amenities, creating a truly unique and comfortable stay.



    Guest Access:

    The cottage has a private on street parking space at the rear of the property that can accommodate 1 small-medium car. From the parking space there is access to the rear of the cottage, through a small gate, down some stairs and into the courtyard garden. You can also access the house from the street at the front.



    The Neighborhood:

    The leafy village feel of Widcombe provides easy access to the best the city has to offer. Prior Park Road adjoins Widcombe Parade which hosts a wonderful selection of small, local shops, pubs and cafes. Just a short hop over the canal bridge will plant you firmly in the centre of the city where you can discover the iconic landmarks like the Roman Baths and the stunning Bath Abbey. Indulge in diverse culinary experiences, with a range of restaurants and pubs catering to every taste and explore local shops and boutiques for unique finds. Just up the hill, you will find the stunning National Trust Prior Park House and Gardens which you may recognise from many famous productions including Bridgerton. Here, the breathtaking Georgian stately home and formal gardens are well worth a visit.     Getting Around:

    The cottage is a short walk (circa 5 minutes) from Bath Spa train and bus stations and the main shopping area of the city and a 10 minute walk from the city centre. There is also free private parking for 1 small-medium sized car which is accessible via a lane and accessible via the back of the property. The cottage is located on Prior Park Road in Widcombe (one of the most sought-after areas in Bath) and is just 100 metres away from the vibrant Widcombe Parade which boasts local coffee shops, pubs, restaurants, shops and a co-op convenience store.



    Other Things to Note:

    Well behaved dogs are welcome at the property (subject to a maximum of two dogs per stay) and they must stay downstairs and off the furniture. There is a £35 extra cleaning charge per dog and we kindly ask that you clear up any dog mess from the garden.
