Barn In Beautiful Rural Location 4 Miles From The City Of Bath

'The Barn', which shares the entrance drive with the cottage, is accessed via a single track 'farm lane' and is a recent conversion of just over 47 sq.m. in floor area.

It has one double bedroom and can sleep a further two on the double sofa bed in the living room.

It is well equipped including underfloor heating, a wood-burning stove, fully tiled wet room, stripped pine flooring, exposed beams, free WiFi, flat screen TVs and a fully equipped kitchen with granite worktops. There is a small utility area with washer/dryer etc.

Internal doors are oak ledge and braced and there is a stable door to the main entrance. French doors lead from the living room to a raised patio and a rough paved closed yard with table, seating and barbecue. There is plenty of parking to the front of the property.

We are happy to take bookings of less than three nights but a minimum charge of £300.00 will apply. This means the calendar should show all days as 'available arrival' unless shown as 'unavailable'.

What a great place to stay! They lovingly call it a "barn," but it's really a beautifully finished apartment with all the amenities. It's a few minute's drive outside of the city in the picturesque countryside. I didn't want to leave!

A lovely quiet setting and cottage with everything provided. An excellent cake and fresh homemade loaf of bread left to welcome us. Easy to find things in the kitchen and lots of cooking equipment. Peaceful outdoor space to sit and relax at the end of a busy day.

Lovely 2 nights - location perfect. Lovely dog walks from the cottage yet so close to Bath. Fabulous hosts- lots bed the homemade cake & bread and breakfast provisions.

Beautiful holiday home

This is an excellent property set in a stunning landscape with wonderful walks right on the doorstep. The barn is very well appointed and the photos don't really do it justice. Great furnishings, lovely kitchen and wet room and a patio with seats and a BBQ that looks out over the local rolling hills. Really good break and we would definitely stay here again.

Beautiful build accomodation with all comfort in a very quiet green surrounding

We loved the place and were very much welcomed by our friendly hosts. You can walk in 1/2 ,hour to the bus stop that brings you quickliy in the center of Bath. The view from the cottage is splendid.

Comfortable bolthole in beautiful countryside

We had a wonderful stay. The cottage is private, cosy and very comfortable. The view and surrounding countryside is stunning and so peaceful. It feels remote and far from everything, just the ticket for a quiet weekend away and yet it's a short drive to the nearest village and very close to Bath. We loved it and will look to return very soon.

It was amazing! We came to the barn late at night and there was cake and bread on the table and eggs in the fridge! It was such a great space and the walks through Bathampton were lovely. Thank you so much for having us! We definitely want to come back again!

Great get away

Fab place to stay for a weekend. The barn was perfect for us and for our dogs. We had plenty of space everything we needed and it was lovely and clean. The host was very friendly. We just loved the kindness of them leaving milk, eggs, bacon and even fresh cooked bread and cake out for our arrival. Highly recommended and we will be returning.

Relaxing break

Our second stay and we had a wonderful few days. Vivienne was a wonderful host- loved the bread and the drizzle cake! The cottage was as we remembered, cosy and warm ( we loved the log burner) and it was a joy to wake up to the peace and quiet. We will return!

Rural retreat

The Barn is beautifully fitted out with everything you need. The location is stunning with walks across the hills and fields. Perfect if you just want to leave the car and get out and enjoy the great outdoors. Vivienne and Roger were great hosts and a big thank you to Vivienne for the welcome goodies especially the delicious cake and bread. Hope to visit again soon.

Fabulous little hideaway cottage

Cosy, warm and so well equipped in beautiful remote countrside, yet only 4 miles from the centre of Bath. So quiet and peaceful, only myself,the dog and the local deer on my morning walk. Wil definitely return.
