The check in process was great, the PM was amazing and we had high hopes after a wonderful experience at the office.
Unfortunately that was where the positives ended. When we got to the property it was dark, the house reeked of a musty/unaired smell and the lights in the hallway weren’t working.
When we made it upstairs by our phone torches, we found the property was very worn out. The carpet was stained, the walls looked terrible and half of the lights didn’t work. When we got to using the kitchen we found that there were dirty dishes in the cupboard, ants and bugs all over the benches and the property wasn’t particularly well equipped. For example, they provide a washing machine, but not clothes airer, clothesline or dryer?
The BBQ was very tired (probably because of its proximity to the beach) but it was also dirty, which is frustrating when we had to pay a cleaning fee on top of the nightly rate. Given that they don’t provide linen, I question what that cleaning fee covers when the property did not seem very clean at all.
Overall I wouldn’t recommend the property, but the real estate were wonderful.
