"I usually enjoy staying at Embassy Suites and was looking forward to the Lombard/Oak Brook location due to its hot tub and convenient location near dining and entertainment. Check-in was disappointing. Despite mobile check-in, I still had to go to the front desk, where staff were efficient but not friendly. The parking pass system is inconvenient, requiring you to go back to place it in your car. The rooms are spacious with a nice layout, and the beds are comfortable. However, maintenance was lacking—our shower didn’t drain properly, the curtain was torn, and the TVs are outdated. Pillows were also unsupportive. The evening reception bartender was excellent and handled a busy crowd well, though he clearly needed help. The snack selection was minimal and not well maintained. Compared to the Embassy Suites in Naperville, this location fell short. The pool area was the biggest issue—it was dirty, cloudy, and in need of serious upkeep, with visible grime and missing tiles. Breakfast was underwhelming, with limited options and long omelette lines. Again, Naperville’s location does this much better. The Hilton app features weren’t very helpful, as the chat went unanswered. I also noticed I was double-charged for parking, and the front desk response when I called was curt and borderline rude. Overall, this stay didn’t feel worth the $150 per night. While I like Embassy Suites as a brand, this location fell well below expectations and I wouldn’t return."

"Clean room! Every morning, housekeeping is mopping and vacuuming the common areas as well. Stayed over a week and room was clean thoroughly. Nice front desk and easy check in. "

"First dat I noticed room phone did not work nor the remote for the room. So I used my phone to complain to the front desk. They came to my room to show me how to use the remote for the tv. They also said the phone would be fixed. Never happened. Day 2 or 3 no room service. When I asked at the front desk I was told I should have asked to have my room cleaned. I laughed because had the phone been working I would have called them again about the situation. Need less to say the person I spoke to in customer service only was able to say she was sorry in broken English and offer me 4000 points. The staff and customer service was clueless and maybe they were following the companies directive which sucks and so does this dated hotel. "
