"Our family of 4 and 3 dogs enjoyed our stay in this beautiful spot. Being right on the water made for a nice view in the early mornings and evenings. We were within easy access to restaurants and a short drive to everything Acadia has to offer. Our top activities included pastries and pizza from Little Notch bakery, visiting the Carroll homestead, hiking the Wonderland trail, visiting the lighthouse, the beach, and Jordan Pond loop with popovers afterwards. "This was a wonderful, spacious place for our extended family vacation. The property has all the essentials plus a number of luxury touches, including upgraded appliances. The host was very communicative and helpful throughout. A minor quibble: people kept tripping over the carpet edge in the main house as it was not flush with the floor. It probably needs to be taped down. Other than that, it was great and we would certainly stay at this property again."

"Really enjoyed our stay in Southwest Harbor, this 2 bedroom was perfect for our family. Liked the location of in Southwest Harbor, it wasn't as busy/crowded like parts of Bar Harbor. It was a perfect launching point for our adventures in Acadia. Kitchen had all the items needed to make us feel at home and communication with the owner was excellent. Would definitely stay here again next time we visit the area."

"This was one of the highlights of our trip. The tents were clean, well appointed, and comfortable. The outdoor temp got down to the upper 30s/low 40s at night and we were still comfortable. This was because of the two space heaters and heated mattress covers that the provided. The place was clean and the water in the shower was HOT! The restaurant on site was also convenient and the food was good. On top of all that, the staff was very friendly. We had an excellent stay!"

"It’s on the ocean. It’s very close to downtown Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park. The Hull’s Cove Visitor Center was about a 4 minute drive where you can enter Acadia National Park or park your car and take the free bus. The hotel is also on the bus route which was very convenient. The hotel property was beautiful. Breakfast was delicious. The location was perfect."

"We traveled with family and had a wonderful stay! The suite was spacious and included a small kitchen, one full bathroom, and an additional half bath, which was very convenient for our family with two teens. The unit was well maintained, newly renovated, and nicely upgraded. The beds were comfortable, with one king bed, one queen bed, and a futon, allowing all four of us to sleep comfortably. The inn was welcoming, and the staff were great. We didn't get a chance to use the pool due to our schedule, but everything else was lovely. The location was convenient, close to plenty of restaurants and stores. Breakfast was average and convenient for grabbing something on the go. We would definitely consider staying here again, especially for a longer visit!"
