Welcome to this charming house on the border of Mount Desert and Tremont. This marvelous property boasts 6 cozy bedrooms, including 4 queen beds, 2 twin beds, and 1 king bed. With a quiet back yard shaded by a massive maple tree, this nice retreat offers 2 bathrooms for your convenience. Situated on a private dead end road, a peaceful 5 minute walk into Acadia National Park and Hodgdon Pond. Less than a 5 minute drive to the Pretty Marsh Picnic area or the Algerine Coast, whether you seek solace a back road leading to long pond or the vistas of the rocky Maine coast, our family home can provide it all. Part of a former parcel of over a thousand acres, most of which was sold to Acadia National Park. Centrally located about 20 minutes from all major towns and villages on MDI. Enjoy the bustle of Bar Harbor, Southwest Harbor, Northeast harbor or Somesville then return to the quiet of the country with your family.
