The Space:
‘Coastal Oasis’ is the perfect place for families to enjoy seaside holidays together in Barwon Heads. The layout takes full advantage of two north-facing entertaining decks, and a gabion rock outdoor fire provides year-round lifestyle appeal. Families will love the incredible proximity to the Village Park playground and skate park directly opposite the street.
Cool, modern, architectural details feature panelled exteriors and a characteristic earthy toned colour palette. The mood is echoed inside, with a beautiful double-height entry void revealing an open tread staircase and polished concrete floors. Natural materials and coastal artworks create a distinct air of relaxed luxury and sophistication, while soft hues are complemented by warm timber accents and extensive windows frame a trio of towering gum trees.
Guests will enjoy the main living, dining and kitchen hub that overlooks and adjoins the front deck and lawn. Setting the tone for calm ambience, the room features a chaise lounge so you can settle in and watch movies (TV with Netflix connectivity). A 2nd carpeted living room upstairs with a large chaise lounge and TV opens onto north upper deck, with views to Village Parkland. Bean bags, board games, books and puzzles will entertain everyone after long beach days. Split system heating and cooling units on both floors provide climate comfort.
The kitchen has a commanding outlook, equipped with an electric oven, gas hob, dishwasher and
walk-in pantry. Crockery, cutlery and cookware, plus some pantry essentials, tea and a coffee pod machine are provided. Enjoy meals together at the large dining table, casual meals at the island bench, BBQs on the deck, enjoy the fire and sit at the outdoor lounge setting.
Four bedrooms are made with hotel quality sheets, and bath towels are provided. Please BYO beach towels. The ground floor master bedroom is a parents retreat with a King size bed, built-in robes and dual access to the ground floor bathroom (bath, shower and a separate toilet). Three additional bedrooms upstairs are serviced by a family bathroom (shower, vanity and toilet). The Queen bedroom boasts direct access to the north deck. Twin Single beds, plus a Single Bunk room completes the four-bedroom layout. Please note the bunk room has a privacy curtain, no door, and a desk for those that need to work from home.
Please note there are two Single floor mattresses available if requested at the time of booking, for an extra linen fee.

Guests will have access to the whole property, including the carport. There is no garage at this property.

This relaxed coastal residence is located only 1km to the shores of the Barwon River in the charming township of Barwon Heads. Situated in a quiet local neighbourhood, you will be on the river boardwalk within approx 10 minutes’ walk. Cast a line and catch a fish, launch your kayak or explore the estuary on your stand-up paddleboard, this is a lifestyle location that’s world’s away from daily life.
This picturesque seaside town inspires you to take long walks along the shoreline, go surfing at 13th Beach, or play golf at the exclusive Barwon Heads or 13th Beach Golf Clubs. Wander along Hitchcock Avenue to taste the local fare and hit the shops and boutiques, there’s something for everyone.
Our beautiful local beaches include the family-favourite river beach for swimming, fishing, boating, SUPing, kayaking.
13th Beach offers waves for advanced surfers.
There are plenty of cafes and restaurants locally, with many more restaurants, wineries and breweries around the region.
Adventure Park is also a great day out with the kids – approx. 10mins drive away.

Our beach house is within easy walking/riding distance to the river’s edge (1km), main Hitchcock street shops/café’s/supermarket (1.3km), and the river beach (1.4km). Off-street parking for two cars is available in the driveway (one under a single carport).
Closest train station 30km away (Geelong station) for V/Line train Geelong- Melbourne.
Barwon Heads is 1 hour 30 mins by car from Melbourne.
