"Cheddar and the surrounding area is such a lovely part of the country and the Gatehouse matched that. The bed was large and very comfortable, the lounge perfect for snuggling away the evenings and the shower particuarly good! Parking also could not have been easier. Do note though, a lot of the roads in the area are narrow and twisty without footpaths so a small car is preferable and beware when walking them."

"My husband and I had a lovely stay at Apple tree glamping. We had no trouble gaining access with the key box outside. The pod was well equipped, clean and comfortable. My husband even said it was the best 3 nights sleep he’d had in a very long time the bed sheets were so soft and the mattress and pillows comfy. The hot tub was an added bonus and easy to use. "We spent 4 nights at this lodge between 28Dec-1Jan and it was excellent. From check in to check out the process was seamless and we had everything we needed. Lodge was cozy, clean and warm and the bathrooms had actually been updated so were newer and nicer than the pics. Area was lovely and quiet. Had a carvery at the Cider barn restaurant about 5 min drive away and we drove into Weston Super Mare (20 mins) and got wristbands for the pier and did ice skating.
