"The Food was great. The bed was comfortable and the room was clean
It would have been nice to have a fridge and a safe in the room to store my passport and valuables
It would have been nice to have an iron and drawers to put things into. I stayed for 5 nights so all the above would have made the stay a better experience"
"What a great place to stay. Super spacious room, really welcoming staff and so clean. Price was a bargain and the restaurant food looked amazing sad that we had to leave early and before breakfast "
"Stayed at this hotel a few times and staff are always friendly and helpful. Especially Moyn always there with a smile and willing to help.
Would stay at the hotel again"
"Pros: Close to restaurants and stores
Cons: Unsafe, no lock on gate, room is unsanitary, no staff, bathroom dirty, very hot shower and there was no way to control it. "

"A lovely quirky hotel close to Hertfordshire University. Many food places close by however, the onsite restaurant was delicious and the staff friendly, polite and welcoming. The rooms were generous sized and well equipped for our stay. We would definitely return. "
"Honestly cannot speak highly of Tewinbury Farm Hotel and The lake view cabins they are such an amazing experience for just unwinding and having nature just on your doorstep. The cabin has everything you want, the bath tub is great to relax in and overlook the lake and then once your relaxed there head to the bed and enjoy a very comfortable bed. Already wanting to go back there and the staff went above and beyond giving me the Cornflower room which is the room i stayed previously and requested to stay there again which they fulfilled. Book the room now you wont regret it! "
"We rarely get a break from our business so we are always so happy to find little gems like the Brocket. We loved the relaxed charm of the whole place. The roads accessing it may be a little windy & tight but Ayot is such a beautiful area it is worth the trip. We parked outside the pub & were greeted by the friendly team who showed us the room which had water left out & tea/coffee making facilities. It's everything you would expect from a 14th century inn. Beautiful features, lovely garden (we loved feeding the guinea pigs). We ate lunch on the second day & the food was fab. Breakfast each morning was very relaxed (available until 10am, alot of places could earn from this). Nice selection at breakfast & we loved the lady who served us throughout such a character.
If you return late to the hotel, make sure you have the front door key, thankfully the owner lives on site so we managed to get in. If you fancy exploring there are several walks in the area with qr code for all on the entrance wall. We opted for the short loop walk which was beautiful. We ate locally at Megans on the Green in Welwyn Garden which was lovely & the town has an array of shops.
Will certainly visit again & please remember it is a 14th century inn & if things don't work be patient.
Thanks for a lovely stay.

"My Room, was clean comfortable and welcoming.
Had a good night's sleep in a comfortable bed.
Food in the bar (Indian) was among the best I've had, service quick and friendly.
A good stay.
Just as a note the rooms are up steep stairs at the back of the pub which wouldn't be suitable for anyone with a mobility issue"
