"Skylodge is excellent value for money. The share kitchen was very well equipped and clean. The lounge area is very comfortable. The bedroom space was a bit tight, but with the adjoining share lounge it wasn’t an issue. "

"Original room we were booked in was really unclean, I understand high tradesman traffic but no excuses when the price is high for a room that is dated, full of spiders 🕷️ and bugs 🐜! Hair in the beds that is not ours! Insulation and timber left in walkway to access room and poor presentation 😢 Nothing like the photos and was very disappointed 😞. We complained and they upgraded us to new ones they have built which were beautiful and clean and bonus disability friendly throughout. But I refuse too return as they’re “renovating” but the old needs to be knocked down or kept for the tradies not for family with children. Certainly not for that price per night!"

The food was excellent and the service was both helpful and prompt. We rate our overall experience at the Colonial Motor Inn as 5 stars. Keep up the good work."
