"We were double booked into the house we had paid for but we were taken to a different one around the corner. For the price we paid it was adequate and clean. Sharing a bathroom with 3 lads who had also been double booked into the same house was not too much of a problem and having a fully functioning clean kitchen helped to catering costs reasonable. "

"Firstly no information on how to enter the property. Had to do an online search to find a contact number to speak the vendor. Who then gave us a passcode and what keypad to use to get access. Wardrobe within the room, had the right hand door hanging open on one hinge, with the top doors completely off. Tv in the room would not work unless connected to one of the devices. Whilst appreciating that it was a shared communal space which we did not use. Other residents were very loud . "

"The apartment was okay. Conveniently located for us to walk to town and visit family. We found it a little weirdly set up with things we didn't need, the steamer, the steps, the printer. But we couldn't use the oven - it smoked and the shower was bizarre and we could have used some instructions as it just wouldn't get to a comfortable temperature. We were also a bit put off by the dirty sponges left in the bathroom. Dont think we would stay there again."

Swallows Barn is easily accessible from Congleton with a short drive through Buglawton and was a home from home on our stay."

The only negative was that we hadn’t realised that bathroom would be downstairs, which resulted in the kids being a bit anxious about going on their own, as it’s a shared house and they weren’t comfortable wandering around the house on their own with strangers. Not a problem for the adults, but the kids weren’t comfortable. "

"Really like this property and have stayed here multiple times now. Like the feel of the hotel, the staff and also the area. I usually choose this over closer options to where i am going the following day as i know it pretty well and exactly what i am going to get. Have previously reviewed through other sites and still remains a 10/10 for me. Eddie is always a great help and good to catch up with him, he remembered my son's milk allergy on sight. Always a comfortable, spacious and enjoyable stay. We did have a little more time this visit too so took advantage of the fitness room which was great. The weather wat particularly warm this time too and could have done with some air conditioning, but it want a huge issue. Great breakfast and other food / drink options and plenty of parking available too. Will definitely be back... again!!"
