"hemos estado la familia (total 15 personas) este fin de semana, y nos ha encantado. las casas son muy grandes, las habitaciones muy acogedoras. Tiene una piscina grande, y aunque no hemos podido disfrutar de ella porque hacia frio, tiene una pinta fantástica. "Our taxi drove us up and up into Toledo - so beautiful! And our hotel was even more beautiful! Once the palace of an empress, it is striking in its decor and beauty. And every part of the experience matched that beauty - the reception was so warm and helpful at every step (I had an international postcard to mail but needed a stamp…I asked the front desk if there was one I might buy, and she offered to take it and mail it for me! She knew the history of this magnificent place and how it was woven into the history of the empress…so fascinating!). Our room was so beautiful in decor and fastidiousness, the lobby bar was graced by a portrait of the Empress at a later stage of her life…beautiful, modern, bright. The breakfast was stunning…homemade everything…yoghurt to which one could add fresh passion fruit (from the fresh fruit on the three-tiered server, with the mini homemade lemon curd tarts and madeleines with white chocolate that was lime zest infused. Fresh orange juice, etc. All beautiful and served with such kindness and graciousness. This is such an experience. Not to be missed!"
