Old rooms and bathrooms, dusty A/C, huge humidity problem (our bathroom door couldn’t even close, and was black at the bottom from humidity, clothes didn’t dry in 2 days), overflowing showers, none-soundproofed bathrooms especially, dirty rug in the hallway, uncomfortable bed. The breakfast was good tho. And we still slept there 3 nights, but wouldn’t go back again unfortunately.

The staff are very friendly and helpful. All the areas are very clean. Great location with a lot of good places around to eat and shop. Easy access to public transportation by walking. The gym is basic but good enough to keep up with your workout. Thank you for a lovely stay!

The hotel was great and the staff was wonderful We loved everything about our stay at the hotel. The location is perfect and not too far from the shops and restaurants. Everyone was very friendly and very helpful, we were able to keep our luggage at the hotel until we were able to check in. Breakfast was very delicious. I loved the fresh fruit, delicious meat cheese and baked breads that was available. I would definitely recommend this place to everyone.

Well located comfortable hotel

A well run hotel within easy walking distance of the Placa d'Espana and Sants railway stations. The rooms were spacious and the breakfast offered a wide variety of good choices.

Good location, fairly close to everything, Metro nearby, so easy to get around. Friendly and helpful staff. Minimal external noise at night, however walls a little thin so some internal sound coming throughout, but not intrusive.

Good but wish I knew about the renovation work.

Very nice hotel, good location for getting around or just staying local for restaurants etc. Unfortunately on the penultimate day work started in a room across the corridor with drills and banging all day long!

Generally it is ok, it is clean and the staff are helpful. However the hotel ist besides a main traffic road, and my room is on the second floor, it is terrible loud till 12:30 in the night. The breakfast is normal.

My stay at Leonardo Hotel Barcelona Gran Via was average overall. The property itself was fine, and the reception staff during check-in were helpful and professional. However, I had a disappointing experience with the night reception team. The room was very warm, so I contacted reception and asked if the temperature could be adjusted. Unfortunately, the rooms do not have individual temperature controls—only fan speed controls. When I asked about the temperature setting, the receptionist said she could not provide that information. The room temperature was around 24°C, while the outside temperature was about 25°C, making the room feel uncomfortably warm throughout the night. Despite raising the issue, there was no effective solution offered. If you prefer a cool room for sleeping, I would not recommend this hotel, as the climate control system may not meet your expectations. Apart from this issue, the property itself was satisfactory.

Okay Hotel

Nice little Hotel, okay location (about 20 minute walk to Place Catalunya). Room was okay, but the beds was so hard!! They are terrible! Breakfast was good, not a lot of options though - its a small Hotel. And the breakfast area is small, some days you shared table with other guests - not great!
