Great no frills lodging.

We are only here for one night before joining a cruise. It meets our requirements. Great location close to Ramblas and cruise ship port. Would stay here again.

Casa Lirio is a no fuss, simple spot to lay your head if traveling to Barcelona. They could improve the signage to find their registration desk and lengthen their breakfast hours. Otherwise, the stay was fine.

Staff were very nice, friendly and helpful. The room was good and the bed was comfortable. No fridge or drink station in the room but there was a fridge in the communal kitchen but other than that it was a very nice stay.

Small quiet and very comfortable. It does not have all the amenities of a 5* however it was comfortable and close for us to walk around the gothic section. We enjoyed our stay and enjoyed the hotel. For a place to lay your head and relax it was very good

The room's floor was dirty painted concrete. It should be flooring or carpet. It is very convenient to la Rambla and the Gothic quarter. There is an elevator. There was good pre-arrival service.

Great place for comfortable and relaxing stay.

The hotel was better than expected, very convenient location, close to metro and to the touristic attractions. We booked the family room despite we were 2, it was not much different price, but the room was very spacious, had a balcony. Hotel has slso a very nice terrace and a kitchen, and lounge space. Kitchen is well equipped, they have a Nespresso machine, filtered water e.t.c. The check in was fast and easy, reception staff was very kind and responsive, Nina helped us to check in and provided us with useful information on local transportation. We also loved the service of Ferran, he was very kind to answer multiple questions, helped us to check out, and was also kind to borrow us his personal umbrella on a rainy day, much appreciated!

Great stay for a great price! Rooms are pretty spacious, but might need some updates (our shower leaked). You are sharing a communal hallway and kitchenette, so be ready for some noise from that! It is also a bit difficult to access the front desk for check-in and if you need anything during your stay due to locked doors. But they are very accommodating and nice.

Recommended

For a two star hotel that is at a lower price point than others nearby, I was very impressed. Its an old building so lots of stairs and old fixtures and fittings but the bedroom was modern and recently renovated. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, the room was big and clean and the bed was very comfortable. We even had a little balcony overlooking the outdoor terrace. I would definitely stay here again.
