The staff was great the breakfast was very good . Only complaint is the noise at night , arriving guests late ringing the doorbell constantly. Blac guesthouse is very specific about what to do if you arrive late . Lastly , our shower had mold . Shower needs a deep cleaning. Otherwise would return ,

I love that it was five minute walk from my appointments that I had set. But I didn’t really like the breakfast that much I actually got sick after my first day there and it was really difficult sometimes to use the restroom with only having one restroom and so many people to share it with. And even though there was a sign in the restroom to keep it clean and tidy when I was leaving people who are leaving their towels inside of the shower, which was wet and made it difficult for me to wanna shower in there glad that it was around the last two days of my stay there. Reasonably priced and perfect for being in the city center.

Staff was friendly and helpful. It was in a nice location away from the hustle and bustle. Breakfast was great as well. Our room was cleaned our second day. Really liked the outdoor area, however the door is hard to use once it’s already been closed. I would stay here again and I recommend it to anyone else.

Free bfast. Clean facility. Working internet. Free toiletries. Has rules and policies in place. Tenants keep to themselves. A lot of food establishments nearby. Good place for an overnight stay or being in transit. Just the smart lock sound is soo loud someone else in the building can decipher the lock code by listening consistently to the combination sound. Breakfast was plentiful and great coffee machine.

Great option at a great price

Blanc guesthouse was a great place to stay but hard to find the first time around. It’s has great access to many restaurants and public transportation. Since it’s not a hotel per se my room had loud music coming in from 10p-2a

The property was in the hear of Barcelona and within a 10 min walk from a metro station. I enjoyed the complimentary breakfast, although it may seem light for those used to heavier breakfasts.The rooms were nice and the complimentary slippers were a nice touch. I had to check in after hours and the staff provided detailed instructions that I was able to follow. The biggest downside is that there are some nightclubs nearby and their music is audible in the night. I was able to sleep though it, but light sleepers may have difficulty sleeping. Overall, I will definitely consider staying here again if I return to Barcelona.

Simple but very good breakfast. Two out of four nights, there was music playing (outside?) which interrupted our sleep. Often, at 7 o'clock in the morning there was someone calling very loudly. We didn't really know how to bring this up since we were not sure whether it's something they can fix themselves, and didn't really have an opportunity to since there were no standard questions during checkout like "how was your stay".

Couple vacation stay

Had a comfortable stay for four nights. Room was clean, bed was comfortable. Breakfast was sumptuous ( variety of pastries, bread, cheese, juice, fruits and coffees etc.). Staff was very helpful and courteous. Only issue is there’s only one shared bathroom for 10 guest rooms. Though we didn’t have any problem.. it could be sN issue for people getting up late. The guesthouse is bit farther from the subway /metro stations ( Diagonal). Difficult to walk if you have luggage.

The place was hard to find. Parking is not on site as advertised. 3 blocks away which is a nightmare with luggage! If you don't have a flyer from the hotel you pay full price too! Shower door coming off the rails. No breakfast or coffee until 830 which is useless to people traveling early. Would be nice to at least get a cup of coffee before hitting the road. I would pay more to stay at a better place. Staff was nice and place was clean. There was partying until 630 am. We had the window open (which let in a nice breeze) couldnt get AC to work. We didn't want to bother anyone so late in the evening. We didn't mind the noise as we think it's just part of being in a fun city the night before labor day and the football team did well. The sound of motorcycles, celebrations, music, fighting, and the singing all through the night was part of the experience.

Had a pleasant stay at Blanc Guest House. Staff are friendly and efficient. Room was spotless and nice touches with complimentary water bottle and slippers. Location is quiet but quite a walk from the main tourist areas, although it is easy to navigate the public transport system - I found buses, from bus stops close by, were frequent, reliable and a better option than metro. The downsides of the guest house for me was the noisy air conditioning unit in the room and the repetitive breakfast. This wouldn’t be a problem if staying for one or two nights but for a weeks’ stay, it is tedious and lacks balance and nutrition. Cheese slices, processed chicken slices and salmi, granola, muffins, biscuits, pastries, cakes, chocolate roll, brioche, and white and brown bread plus a sparse fruit bowl. Young kids seemed to love the sugar overload breakfast but not the adults. Overall, I would recommend the guest house for a short stay but not a full week.
