We forgot our lap top charger in the room .Fortunately we booked the same hotel for our return from Madrid..and lucky enough we got our charger back .Thanks for the staff …u guys did an amazing job .

Very clean and bright, uninspiring breakfast which we skipped so we could enjoy the local restaurants which were amazing. The staff were friendly enough but often busy, some being more attentive than others, while others being very kind and helpful. Overall really nice but basic hotel. The pool and amenities are disappointing. AC worked really well. Come here for a quiet night's sleep but a little pricey and generic overall.

Great location and friendly/helpful staff

The accommodations were clean and spacious. The location was excellent for exploring the city by foot. We enjoy walking so we didn't mind the 15-20 minute walk to the downtown hub of Barcelona. We had issues with the air conditioning unit in both rooms they set us up in - there was a loud humming noise which lasted about 10 seconds every time unit started cooling the room. The "pump" turned on every 45-60 seconds so this was very disruptive to our sleep all night. This went on all night every night and kept waking us up. The staff went out of their way to make us comfortable but the units in both rooms behaved the same. I would book the hotel again, if they could fix the air conditioning issue. Staff was GREAT! The staff was very friendly and helpful.

I was attracted by the good location and price . However, I found it impossible to sleep due to a noisy air-con unit outside my bedroom window. Despite having the air-con off in my room, the machine came on and off for several minutes at a. time - repeating throughout the night. During the night I requested another room - but was told the hotel was full. My first night I had zero sleep. I complained again in the morning and was told I would be moved to a new room the next day. On my second night I could hear conversations through both walls. In addition to the noisy air con unit and walls without adequate sound proofing - between 1am-3am it sounded like a laundry room with a washing machine was above my bathroom. The sound of water gushing through the pipes, (perhaps, and I don't know), from others using the bathroom throughout the hotel in rooms above - that sound echoed in the ensuite - I've never heard anything like it in a hotel. I've stayed in hostels that were far better. The safe did not work. And it was not secured - you could literarily slide the safe out and carry it away. After two nights with no sleep I informed reception that I would be checking out (6 night reservation). Refunded 4 night I didn’t stay but not 2 nights at the hotel with zero sleep. Terrible experience.

The description says this is soundproofed - it is NOT. I got to the room, and could hear everything from the room next door - full conversations and the sound of videos on a phone. I ended up checking out and moving to a better hotel.

I loved this place. It was nice and comfortable. The hotel was very secure and the staff were amazing. The surrounding neighborhood has so many amenities in walking distance. Great restaurants, convenience stores, bars, and night clubs were all in walking distance. There were also nearby self service bicycle rental stands. Taxis and uber was abundant. Perfect location to check out the local culture, shopping, and the tourist must see spots.

The staff were very kind and helpful at all times Hôtel rooms were very clean but the pillows were very hard as were the beds. The beds were also too short for someone 6ft 1in as feet were left hanging over the end. Breakfast was very good for the price of approximately 10 euros with lots of options. The only slight I have with the hotel is in the lobby they must have air fresheners so if you have an intolerance to scents you can’t sit there. I would definitely stay at 1881 Barcelona Gran Rosellon again. 😊👍

Nous avons passé un court séjour de quelques nuits dans cet hôtel 4 étoiles que nous estimons 3 étoiles. Points négatifs : - Mauvaise isolation sonore (portes qui claquent, bruit des voisins qui discutent à 3h du matin pendant plusieurs nuits malgré le changement des chambres, bruit de wc, bruit de clim) - Salle de bain mal équipée (portes serviettes cassés, fuite d’eau dans la douche, le lavabo n’est pas bien nettoyé) - Langue (le personnel ne parle pas très bien anglais) Points positifs : - Localisation (près du centre ville, métro, commerces, restaurants) - Petit-déjeuner (choix varié & bonne qualité) - Personnel (disponible, compréhensible et souriant)

Værelset er samlet set ok. Rengøring var de kommet let omkring. Sengen rigtig god. Badeværelset var fint. Morgenmad ok, udvalget er set større. Service i receptionen var ok. Undrer os over at det er et firestjernet hotel. Pool og tagterrassen var helt lukket. Det fremgik ikke da vi bookede. Beliggenheder i forhold til sightseeing i byen er hotellets absolutte fordel. Vi vil dog nok overveje at finde et andet hotel i området.
